I haven’t had a progress update yet, so here is my first.
On September 8th, my boyfriend and I began our “fat-to-fit” journey. We have both been monitoring our calorie intake and increasing our exercising. We took our first picture, and have been taking progress photos every two weeks.
I am not ready to post any pictures up yet, but there has been a slight difference, I have noticed a small bit of definition in my abs, and a very small percentage of fat loss.
But one thing that hasn’t really budged is the scale. My weight has not increased, but neither has it decreased very much. Since I began I have lost a total of 0.7 pounds. I don’t know if this is due to the fact that I got injured and was unable to run, or the fact that muscle weighs more than fat, or what, but it was a bit discouraging to see that in a month I haven’t even lost a full pound.
But, at least I haven’t gained anything though.
The good news is my foot seems to be almost fully healed again, and I can begin running again. I started back up last week and was able to do 1.75 on the treadmill without stopping on Tuesday, and 1 mile outside on Thursday without stopping. So I have a little bit of catching up to do, but hopefully I can get back to where I was fairly soon, I just have to keep pushing. And I intend to. Hopefully this will help speed my fat loss up a little as well.
My boyfriend also gave me an exercise regimen to follow as far as my strength training goes, and I began those exercises last week.
Patience is still a bit difficult for me to master, but I intend to keep going and pushing, and not give up or succumb to any unhealthy habits.
