Ok guys, I am having surgery later on today to correct my sinus issues and I’m getting a bit nervous, so if you could, send some positive vibes my way! I am sure it will go well, and hopefully within a few weeks I will be feeling like a normal person and able to breathe normally without sniffling constantly. 🙂
You may have seen the recipes that I posted last year for the Steviva blogger challenge, my Cinnamon Roll Collagen Shake and my Cranberry Orange Almond Bundt Cake. Both were made using Steviva products, which use natural, calorie-free and carb free sweeteners such as stevia, allulose, and monk fruit. I was recently introduced to Guy Gone Keto, which has sugar-free keto condiments that are sweetened with KetoseSweet+. These condiments are paleo, primal, and keto-friendly! I received the BBQ sauce, Thai Chili sauce, MCT oil and Ketchup to try.
I really liked these products! The taste was good, and it is great that I was not eating condiments that had a ton of processed sugar in them. You’d be surprised at the sneaky ways that companies will put sugar into their products! And Guy Gone Keto uses KetoseSweet+, which is a safe, non-caloric, non-glycemic sweetener that tastes great and doesn’t affect blood sugar levels or knock you out of ketosis. It contains allulose, which is a rare natural sugar found in maple syrup, figs and raisins. I especially enjoyed the BBQ sauce and the ketchup. The only thing I thought could be improved upon was the packaging. They come in these pouches are sealed with a pull-tab. The pull-tab is sealed fairly well, so it’s a little difficult to pull off. I tried to be careful, but I still ended up with a little product splashing out of the container from the force of pulling the tab. Other than that, I thought the taste was great!
Did you get an Instant Pot for Christmas? I had mine before the holidays, but know a few people that were gifted one at Christmas. I love my Instant Pot. It makes cooking dinner a breeze! And these paleo Instant Pot BBQ Ribs are super easy and take little time to make. From start to finish, this recipe took me about 40 minutes to get delicious, fall-off-the-bone ribs!
In fact, when I went to go grab one of these paleo ribs with the tongs to plate it, the meat came off the bone clean! Needless to say, that rib was unable to be photographed.
There’s not much to cooking these paleo and keto instant pot ribs. You will use the trivet for your Instant pot and put water in the bottom, then season the ribs, place them in the pot, seal it and set it for 25 minutes. Then brush some Guy Gone Keto BBQ Sauce on it and broil it in the oven for a few minutes. That’s it!
I absolutely LOVE a simple, easy meal that doesn’t have me slaving in the kitchen for hours. Don’t get me wrong, I do love to cook and make delicious dishes, but on weeknights I like to find the simplest and quickest recipes to make. And these keto instant pot BBQ ribs are definitely that!
