This Paleo Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is an easy smoothie recipe for those mornings when you need something quick and are craving pumpkin!

Since you know that I like pumpkin flavored things in the fall and around thanksgiving, I have been incorporating it into my morning smoothies.  I will have a smoothie for breakfast a lot during the week because it’s easy and quick.  I don’t like using my full blender either because it takes longer to clean.  I registered for a Nutri Ninja Pro, but for right now I just bought this Hamilton Beach Personal-sized Blender and it works great, and it takes just a few seconds to clean the blade in the morning while I just take the to-go cup with me. I like easy! And unlike my last single serving blender, the cup is 20 ounces so it holds more.

This smoothie isn’t too extravagant, it is simple and easy to make when I’m in a hurry in the morning.

  • 2 cups cashew or almond milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup or 3 packets stevia
Instructions
  1. Place all items in a blender and blend until smooth.

Optional – add protein of your choice. I like to add 2 scoops of Vital Proteins Pasture-Raised Collagen Peptides, it is tasteless and adds 36g of protein.
