Spicy Maple Cashews and Almonds

Ingredients
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/8 tsp cayene pepper
  • 3 Tbsp pure maple syrup
Instructions
  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, maple syrup and spices. Whisk well until the mixture is blended.
  3. Add the nuts to the bowl. Toss the mixture until the nuts are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the nuts onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are lightly browned. Stir them around every 5 minutes or so and check them. Be careful not to burn them.
  6. Remove from oven, and let cool. Break apart any clumps.
  7. Place in a serving dish and enjoy!
